Frequently Asked Questions

What is WeShareApps?

WeShareApps is an app store for Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). It helps you find useful apps that are light on data and storage.

What is a PWA?

A Progressive Web App is an app that runs in your browser. It looks and works like a normal app, but it doesn't need a big download. You can add it to your home screen with one tap.

Is WeShareApps free?

Yes. WeShareApps and every app on it are free to use. There are no paid apps and no in-app purchases.

Will it use a lot of my data?

No. PWAs are much smaller than traditional apps, and some use up to 70% less data. That makes them ideal if data is expensive where you live.

Will it fill up my phone?

No. PWAs take up very little space, and your saved apps are stored in the cloud, not on your phone.

Do I need an account?

You can browse apps without an account. Sign up for free to save apps to your personal collection and access it from any device.

Which phones does it work on?

WeShareApps works on most smartphones, including older models, through your web browser. It is also available on Google Play.

Is it safe?

Yes. PWAs run inside your browser's security protections and can't access your phone without your permission.

I have an app. Can I list it on WeShareApps?

Yes. Email us at info@weshareapps.com and we'll tell you how to get your app listed.
